These Guidelines represent an invitation to get involved in relocation, explain why this work matters, and provide a guide and set of tools on how universities can support human rights defenders.
The Guidelines are designed to share good practice among universities already involved in protection work and to support other universities seeking to become more active.
The Guidelines will be available in Arabic, French, Portuguese, Spanish and Swahili shortly.
The Guidelines are intended to be a living document, and will be regularly updated and revised to reflect developments in practice and new knowledge. We welcome feedback, suggestions and ideas on how to improve the Guidelines, all of which can be sent to hrdhub@york.ac.uk
